HITC Sport understands a host of Championship clubs are eyeing a summer move for in-form Aberdeen striker Sam Cosgrove.

Aberdeen striker Sam Cosgrove has emerged as a top target for a number of Championship clubs this summer, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Cosgrove has been in red-hot form in front of goal for Aberdeen in recent weeks with 14 goals in 13 games for the Dons.
The 22-year-old was rewarded for his fine recent form by picking up the Scottish Premiership Player of the Month award for December.
The former Everton and Wigan youngster has scored 16 goals in 29 games all competitions for Aberdeen so far this season and has also provided five assists.
Cosgrove’s impressive performances have unsurprisingly brought him on the radar of a number of clubs south of the border.

A number of Championship clubs have been keeping tabs on the big target man for most of the season and scouts have been flocking to Pittodrie in recent weeks to cast an eye over the prolific forward.
Cosgrove has established himself as a key man in Derek McInnnes’ side since arriving from Carlisle last January and he proved he could mix it against the best defender with impressive displays against Burnley in the Europa League qualifiers earlier this season.
Aberdeen moved to reward Cosgrove progress with a new deal last month, but that is unlikely to deter his suitors with Aberdeen bracing themselves for interest in the talented forward in the summer.
