Josh Morris of Scunthorpe United celebrates scoring his teams first goal
A host of Championship sides are weighing up moves for Scunthorpe sensation Josh Morris when the transfer window reopens in January, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Morris has been a revelation for Scunthorpe this season since his arrival on a free transfer from Bradford City in the summer.
The former England Under-20 international has scored 15 goals from midfield and chipped in with seven assists to make himself one of the hottest properties in the Football League.

The skilful winger’s performances have helped Scunthorpe soar to the top of the League One table and Morris’ scintillating displays have seen him scoop the League One Player of the Month award twice already this season.
Unsurprisingly clubs higher up the football pyramid have been alerted to Morris’ stunning form and scouts have been flocking to Glanford Park to cast an eye over the midfielder.
Scunthope are now bracing themselves for interest from Morris’ suitors in January and they could face a battle to keep hold of the former Blackburn Rovers man.
Scunthorpe will be determined to keep Morris as he has been instrumental in their push to win promotion from League One so far this season.
