Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock has told the Sports Breakfast on TalkSPORT (8am Thursday) that he thinks Leeds United will survive in the Premier League comfortably.
Leeds are set to return to playing top flight football for the first time since 2004 next season, and there is great excitement to see how the Whites will cope.
Leeds were the standout team in the Championship last term, but they played a very demanding style of football.
It will be highly intriguing to see how Marcelo Bielsa’s high-pressing approach copes against better quality opposition sides in the Premier League.
But Warnock doesn’t think that his former side will have any issues adjusting to the new level.

“They [Leeds] tried to throw it away before. But I love Leeds, it’s a fantastic club, brilliant fans,” Warnock said.
“They’ll hold their own, they’ll definitely hold their own in the Premier League.
“The other two I’m not so sure. I think Fulham have got a better squad than West Brom.”
If Bielsa’s side are to push on in the Premier League then they are likely to need to make some new additions in the coming days.
Leeds are yet to make many alterations to their starting line-up from last season, but they are expected to spend to bring in added quality this summer.
Sheffield United proved last season that teams with a set style can make an impact in the Premier League in their first season following promotion, and if Leeds can perform similarly, then Bielsa’s side will surely be very satisfied.
