The Champions League’s official Instagram account has posted a message about Aston Villa star, Jack Grealish, and recent European Cup winner with Chelsea, Ben Chilwell.
The Instagram post questioned ‘who is your favourite double act?’, as they posted an image of the Villa and Chelsea duo on holiday.
Well, from Villa’s perspective, they will be hoping to feature a lot more on the Champions League page in years to come, as they aim to reach that destination with Grealish in the driving seat out on the field of play.
Many will be hoping that Grealish doesn’t have to leave Villa, like Chiwell left Leicester for Chelsea last summer, in order to fulfil one dream of playing with and against some of the best players in the world.
There’s no doubt that Grealish is ready to showcase his talents on the biggest domestic stage of them all.
But Villa are still progressing as a club and are hoping their star man can help fast-track them towards that place.
On the other hand, Chilwell enjoyed Champions League glory last season when his Chelsea side saw off Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the final.
It was a dream debut season for the left-back in Chelsea colours, which saw him start off with Frank Lampard in the dugout, before Thomas Tuchel was the man to guide the Englishman to the greatest night of his footballing life.
