The newspaper reports that West Brom will demand around £30 million for the Northern Irishman, and that would represent fantastic value in today’s market.
The 29-year-old is a natural leader, aerially strong and quick along the ground. He would undoubtedly help the Reds improve upon the solidarity of their defensive displays, and bringing him to Anfield is surely a no-brainer for Klopp.
The 65-capped international defender is highly experienced, and well versed in playing at a big club, after spending nine years with Manchester United.
Evans would slot seamlessly into the Liverpool back-line, and Klopp should not hesitate to bring him to Anfield in January.
