Nacer Chadli has endured a miserable season so far, with the West Bromwich Albion winger having been restricted to just two Premier League appearances.

Chadli missed West Brom’s pre-season preparations and was unable to play a major part in the early stages of the campaign due to fitness problems after recovering from injury.

The Belgium international subsequently suffered a hamstring strain in training last month which he is still recovering from.

Chadli’s spell at West Brom hasn’t gone to plan as he struggled to perform consistently following his switch from Tottenham Hotspur.

He did, however, still manage to provide some glimpses of the quality that he possesses, scoring four goals and providing two assists in his first five Premier League games for West Brom last season.

Although his performance levels dipped thereafter, the 28-year-old does have the talent to still become a success at West Brom, especially if new manager Alan Pardew can get him to work extremely hard and also provide protection to the defence.

Chadli scored eleven Premier League goals for Tottenham in the 2014/15 season and if he is focused and playing regularly, he can be a real asset for West Brom once he is back fit as he is capable of providing them with some much-needed dynamism and flair.
