Tottenham Hotspur could sell up to five players this summer according to the latest report.

According to a recent report from the Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur are willing to sell Nacer Chadli and Ryan Mason this summer if the right offer comes in. But that pair – and others like them – is exactly what Spurs need as they look to build on this past season.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino clearly has his favourites at White Hart Lane and the Argentine is not big on squad rotation unless it is absolutely necessary. However, he will have learnt from this season and will know that with Champions League football back at White Hart Lane he will need a sizeable squad to compete on all fronts.

Chadli and Mason may be fringe players in the grand scheme of things, but they can make the difference in the cup competitions, allowing the bigger names to feature week in, week out in the Premier League and in Europe.
The Telegraph claims Nabil Bentaleb and Federico Fazio are set to be sold and neither exit would be a surprise. But Mason, Chadli and Heung-Min Son – who is also tipped to leave – should be retained for the good of the club’s long-term aspirations.

They would surely all be willing to stick around and play their part – men unlikely to upset the proverbial apple cart and all the more welcome for it.
Players will leave Tottenham this summer, but Chadli and Mason should not be among them; unless of course Pochettino has some real surprises up his sleeve in terms of incoming transfers.
