Cesc Fabregas has told London World that Tottenham have three world-class players that could cause danger to bitter rivals Arsenal on Thursday night – naming Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski.
Spurs and Arsenal go head to head on Thursday night in one of the most-important North London derbies in history. The gap between fourth and fifth, Arsenal and Spurs, is four points. A win for Arsenal secures fourth.
A potentially incredible achievement for an Arsenal side that finished behind Spurs and way down in eighth place last season. A win for Spurs, though, gives them a chance to leapfrog Arsenal into fourth place.
Discussing the North London derby on Thursday night, Arsenal legend Fabregas believes Kane, Son and Kulusevski could pose a threat. He branded the Tottenham front three as world class, ahead of the clash.
“Tottenham have world class players up front as well in Son, Kane and Kulusevski. Last weekend against Liverpool they gave them a game. If you’re going to beat a Conte team you’ll need to be very well structured.”
Fabregas picks three world-class Tottenham stars: Danger to Arsenal?
Firstly, Fabregas is partly right. Son and Kane are certainly world class, while Kulusevski is not yet at that level. While he has the potential to be at that level, he needs to turn potential into proven quality.
He is certainly doing so – but must continue to do so. All three pose a threat to the Gunners and have the quality to break Arsenal’s defence – especially with Ben White and Kieran Tierney potentially missing.
