Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas jokingly comments on Tottenham Hotspur striker’s Harry Kane future.

In the build-up to the ongoing World Cup match between England and Panama, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas said on BBC One (12:36pm, Sunday, June 24, 2018) with a mischievous smile that it is time for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane to move on.

While stating that Kane is probably the best striker in the Premier League, the former Arsenal star said: “I think now he is ready to go to a proper big club.”

Rivalry

Fabregas was early being mischievous when he made those aforementioned comments about Kane being ready to leave Tottenham.

After all, the Spain international midfielder, who was snubbed for the Spain squad for the World Cup finals in Russia this summer, is a former Arsenal star and plays for Chelsea at the moment.

Arsenal are bitter North London rivals with Tottenham, while the rivalry between Spurs and Chelsea have intensified in recent years.

Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, and the Tottenham striker does not have any reason to leave the North London outfit anytime soon.

Spurs are competing for the Premier League title on a regular basis and are playing in the Champions League regularly.

As for Chelsea, the Blues missed out on a place in the top four of the Premier League last season.
