Charles Watts has suggested that Matteo Guendouzi’s time at Arsenal has come to an end and he will be sold in the summer.

Watts was going through players he felt Arsenal would offload in the summer on his own Youtube channel.

A whole host of names were mentioned, but the Goal.com reporter was convinced that Guendouzi would be one of the first names to depart the Emirates Stadium next summer.

“Matteo Guendouzi, I think he’ll be a certainty to be sold if Arsenal can find a buyer,” he said.

“Given what’s happened and the breakdown in the relationship between club and player, manager and player, I can’t see him signing a new contract.

“Arsenal are going to do all they can to get him out this summer, rather than lose him on a free next year.”

Mikel Arteta has chosen his words carefully about Guendouzi since sending him out on loan to Hertha Berlin.

However, the Arsenal boss seemed to have some question marks over the youngster’s attitude off the field.

Guendouzi has not made too much of an impact in Germany, and while he did show flashes of quality with Arsenal, he is unlikely to be a huge miss.

Arsenal have stronger options in their midfield now, and with Arteta planning to make his own additions, raising funds by selling the French under-21 international could be a smart move.

The Sun say that Arsenal would be looking for around £25 million to sanction the sale of Guendouzi.
