Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has praised Kieran Tierney for his reaction to being left out of the starting lineup on many occasions this season, as quoted on BBC Sport.

The Scotland international left-back found the back of the net with a superb strike in the 17th minute.

Tierney has made three starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League and has played in six UEFA Europa League matches for Arsenal so far this season.

“He has respected certain decisions that we have taken. He has played a lot of minutes and done really well today.”
