Everton striker netted a brace on international duty.

Everton striker Cenk Tosun offered a timely reminder of his ability with a brace for Turkey last night/
Tosun scored both goals for Turkey in a 2-1 win over World Cup bound Iran in a friendly match.

The Toffees paid £27 million to sign Tosun from Besiktas in January and initially he struggled and was left on Sam Allardyce’s bench.
As the season wrapped up, Tosun began to look the part, and ended the season with five Premier League goals.
It only seemed as though he was scratching the surface of what he is capable of, and last night was an ideal time for him to show what he can do.

Turkey did not qualify from their group, with Croatia and Iceland progressing to the finals, and Tosun will get a chance to rest up this summer.
Everton are busy plotting how to improve for next season, with Allardyce sacked and a new director of football in place.
Tosun’s goals showed he deserves to be first choice to lead the line next season and while Everton should consider bringing in competition, he is only going to get better.
