Everton striker Cenk Tosun has commented on his situation at Goodison Park.

Everton striker Cenk Tosun has told Turkish-Football that he intends to be back in the starting line-up within two weeks as he looks to build up his fitness.
Having hit 14 goals in 24 games for Besiktas earlier this season, building on an impressive record of 50 goals in his first three seasons with the Turkish giants, Everton swooped to land Tosun in January.
With Everton needing to bring in a striker having failed to replace Romelu Lukaku over the summer, Sam Allardyce and co swooped to bring in Tosun, with the aim of seeing the Turkish international hit the goal trail quickly.

However, Tosun has endured a frustratingly quiet start to life in English football, starting just twice and making only one substitute appearance, with no goals to his name so far.
Manager Allardyce has been leaving Tosun out of the side of late, not even bringing him off the bench, leading to questions over just why Everton signed him if they were planning to leave him on the sidelines.
Call it an adjustment period if you want, but fans have been left frustrated by Tosun’s lack of playing time in recent games, with Allardyce receiving criticism from sections of the support.

Now, amid claims that he needs to improve his fitness, Tosun has told Turkish-Football that he plans to be a lot fitter very quickly, and predicts that he will be back in the starting line-up in two weeks.
Tosun noted that he is in a new league and needs to settle, but he isn’t deterred by his lack of playing time, and is focused on training hard and integrating with his teammates.
“I am in a completely different league,” Tosun said.“I’m doing everything to settle in and bond with my new teammates. I did not play in the last game but it does not bother me. I am just focused on my game and training hard. I am going to be a lot fitter in a fortnights time and then return to the starting 11,” he added.
