Celtic midfielder Scott Brown has taken to Twitter to send an emotional message to Kieran Tierney following his move to Arsenal on transfer deadline day.

Premier League club Arsenal have secured the services of Scotland international defender Tierney from Scottish Premiership outfit Celtic.

According to talkSPORT, the Gunners have paid the Hoops a transfer fee of £25 million for the 22-year-old left-back.

Celtic midfielder Brown – who has been on the books of the Bhoys since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million – has sent an emotional message to his now former teammate Tierney.

Good move for Kieran Tierney?

Tierney is one of the best and most promising young left-backs in Europe, and the move from Celtic to Arsenal is a massive step-up for the 22-year-old.

The youngster can only improve and develop, and playing at Arsenal in front of global television audience could make him even better.
