Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers finished second behind Celtic last season.
Sheyi Ojo of Rangers
Ojo, who joined Rangers on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, was recently quoted as saying by The Sunday Post that the Gers are the best team in the Scottish top flight.
The 22-year-old winger made the big and bold claim despite the fact that Celtic have won the Scottish Premiership title for the past eight seasons, and the fact that Rangers actually finished second behind the Hoops in the league table during the 2018-19 campaign.
Celtic midfielder Brown – who has been on the books of the Bhoys since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million – has given his take on Ojo’s recent comments, making it clear that Neil Lennon’s side prefer to do their taking on the pitch, and he seems confident of clinching the Scottish Premiership title for the ninth season in a row.

Brown told The Daily Record: “People expect us to win. We need to go out there and show them we are the best in the Scottish Premiership.
“We have done that over the last eight seasons and we need to make sure we try and do that again this season. We do our talking on the park. We turn up and we win games.”
