Moussa Dembele left Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic for Lyon in the summer transfer window.

Dembele joined Celtic in the summer of 2016 after leaving Fulham and left the Glasgow giants for Lyon in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £19.7 million.
Christie – who moved to the Hoops from Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the summer of 2015 and earns £4000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star – has outlined what he learned from the French striker.
The 23-year-old told The Daily Record: “I learned a lot from Moussa. For a young guy, he had such experience of the bigger games.
“In the Champions League games, the Old Firm games and any here at Hampden, he was always on his A game.
“That’s impressive for someone so young. A lot of young players struggle to find consistency but he was always bang on in the big games. Hopefully I can do the same.”

Quality striker
Dembele was a major hit during his two years at Celtic, and the French striker will be determined to bang in the goals for Lyon in Ligue 1.
The 22-year-old, who always turned up in the big matches for the Hoops, will be missed at Celtic.
As for Christie, the midfielder will be aiming to establish himself in the Celtic starting lineup this season.
The Scotland international midfielder spent the second half of the 2016-17 season and the entire of the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Aberdeen.
