Ryan Christie isn’t a popular player among a small group of Celtic fans right now.
It looks like Ryan Christie has deleted his Twitter account after Celtic’s defeat on Sunday.
The Hoops lost 2-0 away to Livingston in a result which ultimately saw Rangers leapfrog them at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic had to play most of the game with 10 men after Christie was dismissed for a nasty challenge on Scott Robinson in the first half.
The defeat, coupled with Rangers going ahead of them, infuriated some fans of the Parkhead club, a select few of whom slammed Christie on Twitter.
And it seems like that prompted him to go dark on social media for the time being.

At the time, Christie was top goalscorer in the Scottish Premiership this season, netting six goals – level with Rangers’ Jermain Defoe, who went on to score a hat-trick yesterday.
And Watt is right. Abusing the Scotland international for a red card and overlooking how brilliant he has been this season is senseless, but it must be reiterated that the vast majority of Celtic supporters didn’t target him.
