Celtic star Patrick Roberts want to score against Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers in the Scottish Premiership or Scottish Cup this season.

Celtic winger Patrick Roberts has expressed an ambition to score against Rangers this season.
The 21-year-old is back fit again following a four-month absence with a hamstring injury and was an unused substitute in the Hoops’ last two games – including the 3-2 win over Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday.
Roberts has been a Celtic player since January 2016 after back-to-back loan spells at Parkhead, but he is yet to score against the Hoops’ bitter Old Firm rivals.
And the Manchester City-owned starlet admits that is something he wants to put right in one of two remaining games with Graeme Murty’s side this season.
Asked about his favourite goal at Celtic, Roberts told The Record: “I would love to say Rangers, but I’ve not scored against them yet, I’ve still got two games left. I think the goal against Hearts (which sealed the title).”

Roberts is a fine talent but time will tell whether he can win his place back from James Forrest.
Considering the Celtic winger has 16 goals this season, it seems likely that the youngster could spend the remaining couple of months of the season on the bench for the most part.
But Brendan Rodgers’s side are nine points clear of second-placed Rangers in the Scottish Premiership. They could well have a number of dead-rubbers toward the end of the campaign after wrapping up a seventh successive title, and Roberts is among the players who will surely get chances to prove he should be re-signed this summer.
