Celtic’s Moussa Dembele will be fit for the Scottish Cup final.

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed to The Scotsman that Celtic striker Moussa Dembele will be fit for the club’s end-of-season fixtures – including the Scottish Cup final.
Dembele has sat out Celtic’s last two games with a hamstring problem which caused Hoops fans to worry about whether he would be fit to face Motherwell in the final at Hampden.
Odsonne Edouard has proven himself a fine deputy after scoring three goals in his compatriot’s absence – including a brace in Sunday’s 5-0 thumping of Rangers.
Rodgers also would have had Leigh Griffiths at his disposal if the former Fulham starlet was unavailable, but the Celtic manager told The Scotsman that the 21-year-old will be fine.
He said: “Moussa will be fine. He had a couple of days out after getting the injury after the Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers.

“He was back in training two days before the game against Rangers on Sunday, but we didn’t want to risk it.”
Dembele hasn’t been brilliant in comparison to his 30-goal season last term, only netting 15 times in all competitions this time around.
But he is a man for the big occasion and although Edouard and Griffiths are superb back-ups, it would be a surprise if Rodgers didn’t start Dembele in the showpiece against Motherwell on May 19.
