The striker’s 13-year-old namesake Karamoko Dembele has been given a taste of senior training.

Celtic star Moussa Dembele has told reporters, as quoted by BBC Sport, that he and his first-team teammates have been afraid to kick young prodigy Karamoko Dembele in training because he is so small.
Moussa Dembele has been a revelation at the Bhoys this season since a summer move from Fulham, scoring 12 goals in 17 appearances so far this season.
That tally has included a hat-trick in the Old Firm derby win over arch-rivals Rangers and a brace against Premier League leaders Manchester City in the Champions League group stage.

Whilst one Dembele has flourished at senior level, another has emerged for the Hoops development side in the form of Moussa’s namesake Karamoko, who has incredibly made his debut for the youth side at the age of just 13.
Such are the teenager’s exploits that he has been invited to be given a taste of training with the first team to reward him for his remarkable development.
The older Dembele stressed that his namesake is an impressive talent for someone so young, but admitted that he and his teammates were afraid to be too physical with the prodigy because he is so small.

Moussa said, via BBC Sport: “We didn’t want to kick him because he is still so small. He is a good talent but we have to wait and see how he will improve as a player.”
Dembele appears to be the name to have in European football at the moment.
Aside from Celtic’s pair, Mousa Dembele – with one s – is a key player for Premier League title-chasers Tottenham Hotspur, while 19-year-old Ousmane Dembele is enjoying senior involvement with German side Borussia Dortmund.
