The Celtic marksman was not included in the squad that went to Pittodrie.

As far as first-half performances go, it doesn’t get much better than Celtic’s at Aberdeen.
By the 45-minute mark, Neil Lennon’s side were 4-0 ahead of the Dons at Pittodrie.
Goals from Odsonne Edouard and Jeremie Frimpong – his first for Celtic – had the Hoops two goals ahead by 15 minutes, before additional strikes from James Forrest and Mohamed Elyounoussi effectively killed off the game as a contest before the break.
Leigh Griffiths was not in the matchday squad due to injury, but the Celtic hitman took to Twitter and sent a four-word message which summed up the first half.
Here’s what the striker wrote on Twitter:
Unfortunately for Celtic, the goals stopped there and Derek McInnes’s side managed to go another 45 minutes without conceding.
The Bhoys were ahead of Rangers in the Premiership table on goals scored prior to kickoff, and they’ll stay at the summit providing that Steven Gerrard’s side don’t pick up a five-goal victory at home to Motherwell, which is possible.
