He told Celtic’s official website in 2017: “Whoever needs to fill in for that position will step up, as they have done. I can play anywhere across the front-three so if the manager wants me to play there, I will play there.”
Sinclair played up front previously for Swansea City under Brendan Rodgers earlier in his career, and could do a job filling in.
With Edouard and Griffiths available too, Sinclair would not be required to fill in very often, just in case of injuries and suspension.
While fans will react negatively if Celtic do not sign an extra striker and Dembele is sold, they actually have enough to cover between now and January.
