Celtic’s Dedryck Boyata is coming under fire for his latest performance.
Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata probably thought the days of him receiving horrendous post-match ratings by the media were over.
The Belgium centre-back enjoyed an excellent World Cup in Russia during the summer, leading to speculation of a big-money move away from Celtic.

Boyata shouldered much of the blame for the heavy defeat, after being given a 2/10 rating by Belgian publication HLN, who wrote: “If he got the ball, he would lose it as quickly as possible – usually by aiming at the stands. Defended too far away from his man, very questionable positional play.”
It’s a disastrous review of the Celtic star and manager Brendan Rodgers will hope that he puts his disappointment behind him when the Scots visit Hamilton on Saturday.
