Lewis Morgan is set to sign for Celtic.
Celtic are closing in on the signing of winger Lewis Morgan. According to Herald Scotland, Morgan has chosen Celtic over a second because he feels that Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers is the right man to take his career to the next level.
The report adds that the Scotland Under-21 star, who has 10 goals for St Mirren this season, will stay with the Championship side until the end of this season – when he will then don the green and white of Celtic.
Celtic have reportedly paid just £300,000 to bring Morgan to Parkhead with the winger’s contract due to expire in the summer of 2018.

Which, when you consider how highly Morgan is rated, looks like a steal.
“Lewis Morgan is a really, really exciting talent, and in normal circumstances, he is a million-pound player,” St Mirren chief Tony Fitzpatrick told the Scottish Sun.
Fitzpatrick even argued that Morgan is as talented as any player in Celtic’s squad right now. Such a bold claim will be treated with some degree of suspicion, however, due to the fact that Morgan has made the breakthrough in Scotland’s second tier and is yet to prove himself in the top flight.
But if he fulfills that undoubted potential at Parkhead, that £300,000 deal will go down as one of Celtic’s best in recent memory.
