Marvin Compper hasn’t made a Premiership appearance for Celtic yet.

Chris Davies has admitted to The Record that Celtic centre-back Marvin Compper has endured a “difficult time” since joining the Hoops.
Celtic spent £1 million [Scottish Sun] on bringing the one-time Germany international to Parkhead in December.
But it hasn’t been a brilliant first nine months in Glasgow for the 33-year-old, who is yet to make his Premiership debut for the Bhoys.
A combination of fitness and form has contributed to Compper’s lack of impact with Celtic, and Davies, assistant to manager Brendan Rodgers, concedes that it hasn’t been easy for the former Leipzig ace, who was also omitted from the team’s Europa League squad this week.
“Marvin has had a difficult time since he got here, with injury as well,” he told The Record. “He’s never quite got going or found his rhythm, that’s been a disappointment on his part.
“He just has to keep working hard and we’ll saw what happens.”
Compper has talent, but if Rodgers believed in him then he probably wouldn’t have signed Filip Benkovic toward the end of the summer transfer window.
In doing so, Compper is now behind Benkovic, Kristoffer Ajer, Dedryck Boyata, Jack Hendry and Jozo Simunovic in the pecking order, making him Celtic’s sixth-choice central defender.
