Celtic’s hopes to sign Charly Musonda are more complicated than they may like.

Celtic’s hopes of signing Charly Musonda from Chelsea are under threat from clubs in Spain and Italy.
The Daily Record reported in July that Celtic want to sign him permanently, and The Telegraph reported earlier this month he will be allowed out on loan.
Signing the young Belgian on loan would be a fantastic deal for Celtic especially with Patrick Roberts out injured, but it certainly will not be simple.

Musonda had a previous loan spell at Real Betis, and this could give the La Liga side an edge over his signature.
Celtic have already wrapped up two deals ahead of January, signing Marvin Compper and Lewis Morgan from Red Bull Leipzig and St Mirren.
Musonda would be an excellent addition, but Celtic will have to pull out all the stops if they are to win the race.
