Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were beaten in League Cup action today, and Celtic youngster Michael Johnstone couldn’t resist taking a dig.

Celtic youngster Michael Johnston has mocked Glasgow Rangers, after Pedro Caixinha’s side crashed out of the League Cup at the semi-final stage.
Celtic booked their place in the final yesterday by beating Hibernian, and Rangers were the favourites to join them at Hampden Park for the final.
However, the Ibrox side failed to live up to their side of the bargain today.

Rangers were beaten 2-0 by Motherwell, with Louis Moult getting on the scoresheet twice.
And Johnston could not hide his joy at watching Celtic’s Glasgow rivals crash out of the cup in humiliating fashion.
Rangers never truly got going against Motherwell, with the pressure now ramped up on Caixinha.
The Portuguese boss has promised a big improvement since taking charge at Rangers, but he is still yet to win three games in succession.
Celtic won the League Cup last term, and will be looking to defend their title when they take on Motherwell in the final.
