Celtic youngster Anthony Ralston has been given first-team chances by Brendan Rodgers.

Celtic defender Anthony Ralston’s performances at the Toulon Tournament have not impressed supporters of Scotland.
Celtic youngster Ralston was selected to be part of Scotland’s under-21 squad for the competition, but he struggled.

Ralston’s performance against England, in a match which Scotland lost 3-1, was singled out for being particularly poor.
And there are now plenty of supporters of Scotland who feel that Ralston could struggle to break into Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side.
Celtic actually could have a place available at right-back, as Mikael Lustig has hardly made himself irreplaceable in recent times.
However, Ralston has only ever been used sparingly by Rodgers to date.
Ralston has only made 10 appearances for Celtic’s senior squad throughout his career, but he still has time to develop at the age of 19.
Ralston spent a chunk of last season out on loan from Celtic at Dundee United.
