Andrew Gutman joined Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic on January transfer deadline day.

Andrew Gutman is staying at Celtic. The 22-year-old defender was due to join Nashville on loan, but that move has not been sanctioned by Major League Soccer, according to a statement on the club’s official Twitter page.
As announced on Celtic’s official Twitter page, Gutman joined the Hoops on January transfer deadline day.
The Glasgow giants also announced on their official website that the 22-year-old defender will be sent back to the USA on loan.
However, it seems that the American youngster will be with Scottish Premiership giants Celtic for the time being.
Nashville have announced on their official Twitter page that Major League Soccer have refused to sanction Gutman’s loan move to Nashville, who are due to join MLS.

Gutman is a very good and talented young defender who did well on his trial at Celtic.
Perhaps the Hoops should try to find the American youngster another club on loan, as him staying at Celtic for the time being may not help in his development and progress.
