Celtic winger Lewis Morgan scored his first senior goal against Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers.

Celtic winger Lewis Morgan has revealed on the club’s official Twitter page that the best goal he has scored in his career is against Ibrox club Rangers.

Morgan, who has returned to Celtic after a loan spell at St. Mirren in the second half of last season, has named his goal against Rangers in May 2016 as his best in his career so far.

The 21-year-old Scotland international wine scored in the 92nd minute of the Scottish Championship match between St. Mirren and Rangers at The Simple Digital Arena, as it ended in a 2-2 draw.

Endearing himself to Celtic fans

Morgan’s comments will endear him to Celtic fans, who will be hoping that the winger scores more goals against Rangers for the Hoops in the coming years.

The 21-year-old was actually at Rangers as a youth team, but he parted company with the Gers in 2013 and moved to St. Mirren.

The winger is one of the best young players in Scotland, and he will be determined to break into Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers’s first team next season.

Morgan moved to Celtic from St. Mirren in the January transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £300,000, and was immediately loaned back to the Buddies for the rest of the season.
