Celtic have won their sixth successive Scottish Premiership title in emphatic fashion, hammering Hearts 5-0.

While winning the league is nothing new for the Bhoys, manager Brendan Rodgers has already achieved something no other boss has in the history of the competition and there are still more records up for grabs.

By sealing the title with eight games to spare, Rodgers has gone one better than Rangers’ seven back in 1928-29 – which was equalled by Neil Lennon and Celtic in 2013-14.

It does not end there for the Northern Irishman, because if his team maintain their unbeaten record then they will be the first Scottish side to do so over a 38-game season and the first to achieve it since 1898-99; again by Rangers.

Rodgers could also set the highest ever points total in the league, which currently stands at 103. Celtic are on 86 points at the moment, but could reach as high as 110 should they keep winning.

This would also set a record for most games won as well, with them currently on 28 and chasing the 33 they achieved in 2001-02.

Not a bad first year for Rodgers, who’s defeat to Lincoln Red Imps in his first game in charge seems like a distant memory now.
