29th April 2012 – Celtic 3-0 Rangers
Celtic proved themselves worthy Champions as they hit administration bound Rangers with a 3-0 defeat.
A Charlie Mulgrew header in the 17th minute opened the scoring before Kris Commons lobbed Allan McGregor with half an hour played to put The Hoops in cruise control.
Shortly after the break forward Gary Hooper blasted home to make it three for Neil Lennon’s side.
The victory in the final Old Firm derby of the season stretched Celtic’s lead over their Glasgow rivals to 21 points with three games remaining, emphasising that the team from the East End would have won the title even if Rangers had not been docked 10 points for going into administration.

25th March 2012 – Rangers 3-2 Celtic
The then current Champions Rangers prevented the title being won on their own pitch despite a late surge from Celtic at Ibrox.
Sone Aluko put the hosts ahead in the tenth minute with a fantastic solo effort. Cha Du-Ri and Victor Wanyama were both sent off before goals from Andy Little and Lee Wallace put The Gers 3-0 up.
A late rally from the visitors came with a penalty from Scott Brown and then a Thomas Rogne effort.
The defeat ended Celtic’s 21 game unbeaten streak in the league. A 100th league win over Rangers would have seen Celtic beat the previous earliest date for clinching the title – 4 April – two years to the day since Neil Lennon took over as manager from Tony Mowbray.
28th December 2011 – Celtic 1-0 Rangers
Joe Ledley’s goal was enough to give Celtic the points over Rangers to put the hosts two points clear of their Old Firm rivals Rangers at the top of the SPL.
It could’ve been a lot different if Rangers midfielder Lee Walace’s header was judged to be over the line before keeper Fraser Forster clawed it back.
It was Celtic’s ninth SPL win in a row and confirmed the turnaround in fortunes since November 5, when they were 15 points behind the champions, albeit with two games in hand.

18th September 2011 – Rangers 4-2 Celtic
Early leaders Rangers won the first battle in the four Old Firm matches that season, moving four points clear at the top of the table.
Steven Naismith put Rangers one up before Gary Hooper equalised and Badr El Kaddouri scored to put The Hoops ahead.
But it was Rangers who controlled the rest of proceedings, with Nikica Jelavic and Kyle Lafferty turning the game on it’s head and Naismith got his second with a goal in the 92nd minute.
24th April 2011 – Rangers 0-0 Celtic
A stalemate at Ibrox, however it was Rangers keeper Allan McGregor who was the hero as he saved a late Georgios Samaras penalty late on to keep the title race alive.
And the Scotland goalkeeper’s penalty save prevented Celtic securing a victory that would have sent them to the top of the Scottish Premier League by two points with a game in hand.
