The Hoops defender described the Parkhead captain as a ‘legend’ and a ‘real captain’.

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to praise Hoops summer signing Boli Bolingoli’s kind comments on Parkhead captain Scott Brown.
In an interview with Celtic TV, the 24-year-old shared how he is already very impressed with Brown, despite having been at the Parkhead club for a short amount of time, and described him as a “legend”.
“Scott Brown is a big leader, he’s a legend for me,” said Bolingoli. “How he plays the game, you can only look up to him. In the derby… I was looking at him like ‘damn, that’s a real captain’… (and) off the pitch he’s a nice guy.”
Bolingoli had a bit of a shaky start to his Celtic career but is improving with each passing game and was impressive in the Old Firm derby against Rangers, playing his part in Neil Lennon’s side claiming a 2-0 win at Ibrox.
The Belgian is certainly doing his bit on the pitch and the Bhoys faithful are now starting to really love his off-the-pitch demeanour and attitude too, with some taking the time to praise him on social media:
Bolingoli joined Celtic in early July on a four-year deal from Austrian side Rapid Vienna, the Hoops reportedly paying £3million for his services according to the Daily Record.
Up next for the Hoops, once the international break comes to an end, is the Scottish Premiership trip to Hamilton Academical a week on Saturday.
