Celtic trio Scott Sinclair, Erik Sviatchenko and Moussa Dembele have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the win against Rangers on Sunday afternoon.

Brendan Rodgers’s side got the better of Old Firm rivals Rangers 1-0 at Hampden Park in Glasgow in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup.

Moussa Dembele’s goal in the 87th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides.

Winger Sinclair, defender Sviatchenko and forward Dembele have taken to Twitter to revel in the victory over Mark Warburton’s Rangers and have thanked the Celtic fans.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Sunday afternoon, Rangers had 42% of the possession, took eight shots of which three were on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.

Celtic had 58% of the possession, took 24 shots of which eight were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.

The Hoops will face Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen in the final of the Scottish League Cup in November.
