Celtic are in the driving seat when it comes to Moussa Dembele’s future.

Celtic are spending the last few days of the transfer window dealing with late interest in star striker Moussa Dembele.
Marseille’s interest has been followed up by Lyon, The Scotsman reported.
Celtic obviously do not have much time left to sign players, making it practical for them to demand a player in exchange for Dembele.
Fortunately, Lyon have a player they already want.
Celtic tried in vain to sign Reo Griffiths earlier this summer, formerly of Tottenham Hotspur.

Griffiths, 18, scored more than 30 goals for Spurs’ academy sides last season and quit the club in order to pursue first team chances elsewhere, and signed with Lyon.
Football London reported earlier this summer that Celtic were keen, before Lyon won the race.
Celtic have a chance now to flex their muscles and demand Lyon send Griffiths to them on a season long loan as part of the Dembele deal.
At Celtic he would stand a better chance of playing, with his chances at Lyon dented by a potential Dembele arrival.

Celtic could hope that Griffiths falls in love with the club during his year in Scotland and hope it can go onto lead to him wanting to sign permanently.
If not, then they at least get a year out of the youngster, who will be determined to prove his decision to quit Spurs was correct.
It is an unlikely second chance for Celtic which they should take advantage of if Dembele is set on forcing an exit.
