Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is now chasing a mystery defender signing to go with new attacking firepower on deadline day.
That’s according to the Daily Record, who claim that there could be three arrivals at Parkhead in the final hours of the transfer window.
Winger Jota is set to join from Benfica, penning a loan deal with a view to a permanent move after spending last season at Real Valladolid.
Striker Giogos Giakoumakis is also coming in from VVV-Venlo, with a £2.1million deal agreed for the Greek international to arrive.
Postecoglou isn’t done there though, as Celtic are also looking to bring in another central defender on loan.
Celtic have already added three centre backs this summer, with Carl Starfelt joining from Rubin Kazan, Osaze Urhoghide signing from Sheffield Wednesday and Liam Scales coming in from Shamrock Rovers.
With Christopher Jullien still out injured and Shane Duffy now back at Brighton, Postecoglou clearly feels he still needs one more option in that area.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Cameron Carter-Vickers has been a target throughout the summer, so a move for the American may well make some sense today.
The problem on that front is that Celtic want a loan deal, and Tottenham are unlikely to let Carter-Vickers leave on loan with just a year left on his contract.
Celtic may end up having to look abroad, but with Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie close to leaving, there could still be plenty of incomings today.
