The agent of Giorgos Giakoumakis is trying to get the striker out of Celtic and to a club in the Premier League in the January transfer window, according to InsideFutbol.

The report has claimed that Giakoumakis wants to play in the Premier League and is willing to leave defending Scottish Premiership champions Celtic in the January transfer window.

The £2.5 million striker has struggled for regular playing time at Celtic, and his agent is now looking at other clubs to sign him in the middle of the season, including those in the Premier League, according to the report.

Will Celtic miss Georgios Giakoumakis?

In our opinion, Celtic will not miss Georgios Giakoumakis if he leaves in the January transfer window.

The striker is not guaranteed a place in the starting lineup at the Hoops.

The Greece international has made only four starts and 13 substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Ange Postecoglou’s side so far this season.

The Celtic no. 7 has scored six goals and given one assist in those games.

Giakoumakis made two starts and four substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for the Bhoys this campaign, scoring one goal in the process.
