Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic reportedly want to sign Omar Elabdellaoui.

According to The Scottish Sun, Olympiacos value Celtic target Omar Elabdellaoui at £8 million.
It has been reported that Celtic want to sign Elabdellaoui from Greek giants Olympiacos in the January transfer window.
However, the 27-year-old, who can operate as a right-back or as a right-sided midfielder, is reportedly valued by his club at £8m.
Celtic move off?
Elabdellaoui is a good right-back who has been played in England with Hull City and was on the books of Manchester City from 2008 until 2013.
The 27-year-old has matured and become better over the years, but the reported £8 million price-tag is probably too much for Celtic.

After all, the Hoops broke their own transfer record only in the summer of 2018 when they signed Odsonne Edouard on a permanent contract from Paris Saint-Germain, spending £9 million to sign the forward, as reported by Sky Sports.
It is hard to see Celtic slash out £8m on a single player in the same season, and maybe the right-back is out of the the Glasgow giants’ range.
