Celtic will be encouraged by teenager Mikey Johnston’s progress.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Celtic talent Mikey Johnston was applauded off the pitch by Bayern Munich fans after his display in their UEFA Youth League clash.
Celtic’s first team were hammered 3-0 against Bayern on Wednesday evening, with Thomas Muller, Joshua Kimmich and Mats Hummels all scoring in their Champions League clash.
Before Brendan Rodgers’ men took to the field at the Allianz Arena, Celtic’s youth side were in action against their Bayern counterparts in the UEFA Youth League – and they were also met with a hammering.

The Celtic youngsters were thrashed 6-2 by Bayern, with Franck Evina, Felix Gotze, Robbie Deas (own goal), Marin Pudic and a brace from Manuel Wintzheimer handing Bayern the win.
Mikey Johnston scored for Celtic and had a hand in Ewan Henderson’s goal too, with Johnston catching the eye for the Bhoys despite their 6-2 defeat.
The 18-year-old wide man was applauded off the pitch by Bayern fans, according to The Scottish Sun, as his performance clearly caught the eye of the home supporters.
