Celtic defender Anthony Ralston has commented on his loan move to Dundee United.

Celtic defender Anthony Ralston has told The Scottish Sun that he was happy that Brendan Rodgers allowed him to go out on loan to Dundee in January.
Ralston, 19, has come up through the ranks with Celtic having joined the club way back in 2007, and has been attempting to make a name for himself at Celtic Park.
The right back went out on loan to Queen’s Park in 2015, scoring once in 14 games before heading back to Celtic, and he has shown promise under Brendan Rodgers.

Ralston has made seven first-team appearances under Rodgers, including against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League earlier this season, with his first-team displays earning him rave reviews.
In fact, it was only September when ESPN reported that Everton and Tottenham Hotspur were both keen to sign Ralston, having been impressed with his displays for the Bhoys.
However, Celtic decided to loan Ralston out earlier this month, allowing him to join Dundee United on an emergency loan until the end of the season.
That should give Ralston some time to play regular first-team football, and he admitted that he was happy that Rodgers loaned him out and allowed him to work his way back to full fitness.

Ralston also admitted that he looks up to Celtic teammate Kieran Tierney, claiming he is a good role model and hopes to emulate his success in the Bhoys first team one day.
“Kieran is definitely someone to look at and every player who has come through the youths is looking to achieve what he has achieved,” said Ralston. “He is a good role model. I get on well with him. It is good to have had him around and I obviously know him from the youth ranks.”
“It is a positive thing coming here. I had a bad injury and Brendan Rodgers has allowed me to come and get this experience. I am happy he did,” he added.
