Ings was brought to Liverpool by Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.

Celtic have suddenly emerged among the leading contenders to sign Liverpool striker Danny Ings with Skybet.
Ings, who was brought to Liverpool by Bhoys boss Brendan Rodgers for £8 million three years ago, has decided to leave Anfield this summer, according to the Times [and various others], prompting a market to be opened on the 26-year-old’s next club.
Southampton (11/8), Newcastle United (7/2) and Rangers (11/2) continue to feature prominently in the betting, although Celtic – having occupied odds of longer than 22/1, as of Tuesday morning – are now right behind them at 6/1.
Celtic currently boast a healthy pool of strikers, comprising Leigh Griffiths, Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard, although that would change should one of those depart.

Burnley and Crystal Palace (both 8/1) are the only other clubs occupying odds sorter than 12/1 with Skybet.
Ings, who played for Burnley immediately before Liverpool, has only managed 25 appearances for his current employers due to injury, and has scored or assisted five goals.
