Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers drew 1-1 with Celtic in the most recent Old-Firm derby.

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has taken a less than subtle dig at Glasgow Rangers, through his comments in the Glasgow Evening Times.
Rangers drew 1-1 with Celtic in the Old-Firm derby yesterday, and Griffiths says that was a result that the Ibrox side were delighted with.
In the build up to the match, Martyn Waghorn insisted that Rangers were the only team in Scotland capable of beating Celtic.
However, Griffiths insists that Rangers came to Parkhead desperate to simply avoid a defeat, with a draw their main objective.
“We knew that it would be a close game, that they’d come here to defend and hit us on the counter,” the Celtic striker said.
“There was talk from both camps about what they were going to do to us or what we were going to do to them but we were just focused on trying to get the three points.
“Rangers knew it was going to be a hard afternoon for them and, if you’d offered them a point before the game, they’d have snatched your hand off.”
Rangers got the draw that Griffiths felt that the came for, thanks to a late equaliser from Clint Hill.
Celtic had taken the lead through a fine Stuart Armstrong strike, but could not hold on to claim the three points.
The Bhoys’ failure to hold on to the three points brought to an end their winning streak, but they still remain 33 points clear of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership standings.
