Celtic extended their domestic unbeaten run to 64 games.

Celtic extended their domestic unbeaten run to 64 games after beating Ross County in the Scottish Premier League clash on Saturday.
Leigh Griffiths came from the bench to score the winner for the Bhoys with a superb free-kick. The Celtic striker took his goal tally to nine in all competitions with that effort.

It was his first goal from a free kick since his dream double against England in the World Cup qualifiers. With that victory, Celtic also managed a terrific record – not a single team has managed to keep the Hoops goalless.
Own Coyle’s side frustrated the Bhoys for the major part of the game despite an overwhelming dominance from Brendan Rodgers’ men in terms of possession and creating chances.
But in the 78th minute, one moment of sublime quality from Griffiths sealed the tie in Celtic’s favour.

Griffiths said after the match that Celtic were struggling to create clear-cut chances, and as such set pieces remained the only option to score.
He reveals that he took an advice from his club teammate Craig Gordon at half time. The 34-year-old urged him to shoot because the goalkeeper would be facing the sun.
“Craig Gordon said at half time if I got on to try to have a shot because the sun will be in the keeper’s eyes. So I knew if I got the ball on target it had a good chance of going in,” said Griffiths, as quoted by the Sunday Mail (printed edition; 19th November – page 78).
