Celtic’s Moussa Dembele celebrates scoring a goal
Celtic duo Moussa Dembele and Nir Bitton had successful evenings on international duty last night.
Dembele was a second half substitute for France’s under-21 side in their 5-1 friendly win over Georgia.
The in form striker came on with the game at 2-1 up, joining namesake Ousmane Dembele on the pitch.
He made an early impact, winning a penalty for France’s third, before scoring their fourth.

It was his first ever appearance for France’s under-21 side, and he certainly did enough to warrant further opportunities.
Dembele’s Celtic teammate Nir Bitton was also in action, featuring for Israel in their World Cup qualifier away to Macedonia.
Bitton provided an assist for Tal Ben Haim II to score the winner in a hard fought 2-1 win.
Israel were played out the late stages of the match with 10 men after an ill disciplined performance, with Bitton among the players to pick up a yellow card.
The result was their first win of the campaign, but while early on, they face a tall order to qualify, sharing a group with Spain and Italy.
