Celtic talent Karamoko Dembele has been hailed by Christopher Jullien.
Celtic defender Christopher Jullien has told RMC Sport that he thinks Karamoko Dembele is a ‘phenomenon’ – but hates training with him.
The Bhoys have had high hopes for Dembele for some time now, having seen the winger play above his age range for years now.
From playing Under-20 football at the age of 13 to making his first-team debut at 16 back in May, Dembele has been touted for a huge future.
Now set to represent England ahead of Scotland and the Ivory Coast, Dembele making waves – and even picking up interest from elsewhere.
TEAMtalk recently claimed that Arsenal are pursuing Dembele, seemingly hoping to reunite him with ex-Celtic teammate Kieran Tierney in 2020.
Celtic will hope to keep hold of the 16-year-old, though he hasn’t been able to make a first-team appearance under Neil Lennon so far this term.
Now, summer signing Jullien has admitted to RMC Sport that he thinks Dembele is a ‘phenomenon’, claiming he has undoubted qualities in his game.
Jullien did though add that he hates training against Dembele, as in ‘toro’ drills – piggy in the middle, essentially – Dembele loves to embarrass him with nutmegs.
“Dembele is a phenomenon, he has undeniable qualities,” said Jullien. “I hate to do ‘toro’ with him, he likes to nutmeg me,” he added.
