Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers lost to Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic at Ibrox last month.

Rangers suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Old Firm rivals Celtic at home in the Scottish Premiership in March.
The Gers and the Hoops will take on each other at Hampden Park in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup on Sunday afternoon.
Celtic midfielder Brown, who has been on the books of the Bhoys since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million, has suggested that Rangers will be haunted by their defeat to Brendan Rodgers’s side last month.

When asked if their most recent derby defeat will be fresh in the minds of the Rangers players, Brown told The Scottish Sun: “It probably will be, yes.
“Also, we’re turning up with 11 men this time and going to Hampden, where we have had some great games recently. We’ve played really well there and we’re also going into the game on good form.”

Rangers should be fired up
Brown’s comments should fire up Rangers and inspire the players to step up their game against Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup this weekend.
It is clear that the former Scotland international midfielder thinks that the Hoops will be favourites heading into the match, and Graeme Murty’s side should do all they can to show them that they can compete with them.
