Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers will challenge for the Scottish Premiership title, says Celtic midfielder Scott Brown.
The Bhoys won the league title last season without losing a single match, while Rangers finished third in the standings.
Brendan Rodgers’s side will start the new campaign as favourites for the championship, and it will not come as a surprise if they clinch the title and do not lose a single game yet again in 2017-18.
Celtic star Brown, who is 32 years of age and is one of the best players in Scotland, has suggested that Rangers will be challenging for the league title, and has mentioned Pedro Caixinha’s side as one of two main challengers for the Hoops – the other one being Aberdeen.

“I think going away to Aberdeen is always a hard test, going away to Rangers is always a hard test,” The Scottish Sun quotes Brown as saying when asked who he thinks will be Celtic’s biggest challengers.
“It’s going to be between those two for pushing us all the way. But for me, we need to maintain our levels that we pushed last season and try and better it.”

Rangers have made a number of signings in the summer transfer window so far, including defender Bruno Alves, and the Gers do appear to be a stronger side than they were last season.
Although it is hard to imagine Celtic not winning the Scottish Premiership title this season, the Glasgow giants will be pushed hard by their Old Firm rivals Rangers for sure.
