The Celtic defender was brought to the club by Brendan Rodgers because of his vast experience of playing at the highest level.

Kolo Toure signed for the Hoops in the summer of 2016 on a free transfer and, at the time, who would have thought that the Ivorian would be on the verge of creating history just nine months later?
The 36-year-old centre-back has made 15 appearances for Celtic in all competitions, but only seven in the league, so will need to play at least some part in three of his side’s final eight games in the Scottish Premiership in order to become eligible for a winners medal.
If he manages that, and Brendan Rodgers’ side avoid defeat in the final eight games of their season, Toure will become the first ever player in the history of the game to have won a league winners medal for two different teams whilst going unbeaten for the entire campaign.
The 120-capped Ivory Coast international was a key member of the Arsenal team that went unbeaten during the 2003/04 Premier League season, as they eventually ran out as convincing champions.
If Celtic do manage to remain unbeaten, and Toure goes on to become the first ever player to be part of two separate ‘invincible’ teams, it would represent quite a remarkable feat for a player who began his career in the depths of Ivorian league football with ASEC Mimosas.
