Celtic kicked off the new season in style as they hammered Hamilton Academical 5-1 at Parkhead on Sunday afternoon.
The Bhoys saw Rangers record a 1-0 win at Aberdeen on Saturday, and responded emphatically just over 24 hours later.
Odsonne Edouard fired Celtic in front from close range, before Greg Taylor bagged another assist with a superb cross for Jeremie Frimpong.
Scott Martin pulled one back for Hamilton with a deflected effort, but Edouard scored two quickfire goals after the break to complete his hat-trick.
Substitute Patryk Klimala came off the bench to add a fifth, but there was no doubting who stole the show as Edouard underlined his quality again.
Edouard smashed 27 goals and 18 assists last season, and he has already smashed a hat-trick in the first game of the new season.

The Frenchman is likely to attract major interest from Premier League clubs this summer, and pundit Frank McAvennie slated Edouard just days ago.
As quoted by the Daily Record, McAvennie suggested that Edouard didn’t look interested in pre-season and looked like he didn’t want to be a Celtic player.
Edouard didn’t forget those comments, and took a jab back at McAvennie on Twitter as he quoted the criticism alongside three football emojis to celebrate his hat-trick in style.
