Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers lost to Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby last month.

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths is not a very popular player among the Rangers fans, who surely did not enjoy seeing him celebrate the Hoops’ 3-2 win against the Gers at Ibrox last month.
Brendan Rodgers’s side won the Old Firm derby 3-2 against Graeme Murty’s Rangers and maintained their quest for the Scottish Premiership title.
Griffiths did not feature in the match due to a calf injury, but the former Wolverhampton Wanderers striker was among the Celtic fans in the Broomloan Stand.
The Scotland international striker was spotted waving a Republic of Ireland flag after the win against Rangers in the Old Firm derby.

The 27-year-old has explained the celebration and told The Daily Mail: “Some guy handed the flag to me. It was just one of those things.
“It wasn’t intentional. I just wanted to show everybody how happy I was that the team got the three points.”

Quality footballer
Griffiths, who joined Celtic from Wolves in January 2014 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £1 million, has been superb for the Hoops over the years.
The Scotland international has had injury issues this season, but there is no doubt that the former Livingston and Dundee star is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership.
